My daughter loves her heelys, it took her about 10 minutes to figure out how to use them and now she is flying around all over the place. She has a lot of experience with rollerblades/ice skates but I imagine a kid new to skating would beed a few days to adjust and learn to balance. Overall very happy with the product.
